As a socially responsible corporate citizen, the AGS group and its network of 125 branches, operating in 75 countries, accepts its responsibility towards the environment and sustainable development through local campaigns.

As an international removals company, AGS places the environment and people at the centre of its activities. Since 2009, the AGS group has been taking part in the United Nations' Global Compact and promotes the 10 principles set forth in the initiative.

The objective is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, to protect biodiversity and to promote local socio-economic development.

Climate change is one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time. Every year 9 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide is absorbed by trees, but millions are destroyed every year. AGS has therefore chosen to compensate for the environmental impact that is inherent to its business activity (packing material and carbon dioxide emissions during transportation).

For every international removal operation of more than 10 m³, AGS will plant a tree.

By combining our efforts, we will succeed in saving our planet. Let us work together for the environment.

We acknowledge that we have an environmental role to play by ensuring that the impact of our business activity on the environment is controlled. Click here to find out more about AGS' environmental initiatives.

Created in 2000, Planète Urgence is an association which, through international solidarity, aims to develop and protect the environment. It organises campaigns on five continents through its current programs, namely Environnement et Développement and Congé Solidaire. Its objective is to fight against the destruction of the planet and the inequalities between the Northern and Southern hemispheres.
Since 2006, and through its Environnement et Développement, Planète Urgence has been running 2 programmes on reforestation and reinforcement of agro-silvicultural resources in local communities in Mali and in Indonesia.

Agro-silvicultural development in Mali: 450,000 trees planted in the Mopti region. Orchards, market gardens and fodder production in order to fight against desertification and to promote local economic development.

Restoration of the mangrove swamp in Indonesia: 1,840,000 trees planted in the North Sumatra region. Reconstruction of the mangroves to fight against global warming and to protect biodiversity.
